Polecat & Ferrets
Sunday, July 25th, 2010I often get people on this blog looking for information in regards to polecats or ferrets – understandable really considering the site domain. Unfortunately, this website was launched to act as a personal profile and an area to openly discuss and post marketing issues. I personally do have two polecats / ferrets (its always a debatable issue as to whether it is a polecat or a ferret) – either way, the best I can offer is polecat / ferret advice and a few snap shots of my own little misfits. If you have questions please post away.

I have some bad news – last night I placed the ferrets outside like I have always done to have some playtime. When I returned to bring them in for the night, I found that Slinky the mischievous one (who got under the house floorboards once) had escaped from his lead! That is the white one in the photos.
We all started to look for him, including some neighbours but after a few minutes we heard a large screaming noise and then silence – basically we haven’t found him since. My thinking is that the local fox with cubs got to him and he didn’t really stand a chance.
I have mixed emotions about the whole thing – obviously Slinky was more my partners ferret than my own and he was a bit of a pain always up to mischievous things, but knowing he may have been eaten and hearing the screams has obviously upset the whole family, especially as we are going to be relocating to Gibraltar in a week.
